The concert

Today Metallica came here and they are giving a concert tomorrow....pretty close to my town...though I don't think I will hear anything heheh. Not that I'm typically crazy about Metallica....naaah not really. I just know people who are and one of them even promised (or I should rather say threatened) to make me watch all their DVDs.

I just like a few of their songs...and mostly those 'quiet' ones like 'Nothing Else Matters', 'The Unforgiven'....The song I attached here for you is 'Enter Sandman' ...why this one? Well, I was much younger when I saw this video for the first time and I was always scared to look at the old man who appears in the video....well now I'm just wondering why...not that he seems prettier, but he is no longer THAT scary lol.

PS Well, now dear readers, I thought that Vinu and Stu should be intorduced to each other officially since they started to read and comment on their blogs.

Stu, this is Vinu

Vinu, this is Stu.

Lol so now you guys know each other so keep on commenting....now there are two of you to trouble me :)

Compliments

Anyone looking for something that would make you feel better? (or something that would help you get rid of your bm...like it is in my case?)...well, here it is.....a compliment. You mostly get it from people you like so it's for free, it has no side effects and brings the smile back to your face immediately. I have recently been lucky enough to get a compliment...actually three to be precise (maybe that's not much, but I got them from people who do not really tell you compliments every day). Woudn't mind at all if that happened more often :)

PS Anyone in need of compliments...just let me know.

PS Well, I was talking to Buddha lately and told him about my blog....he checked it and said....that I should be writing books because I have that something in my style of writing....it felt amazing to hear that; then I talked to Vinu...and he said I'm intelligent !!! and sensible (anyone who knows Vinu knows perfectly that he is sweet but he doesn't say compliments often....that's why I cherish them when he finally says something good about me ;)) and then came Stu....lol, last but not least....though it happened some time back I still think it was sweet of him to think of a new nickname for me which is Cherry :))

Isn't it all too good to be true? lol

Shopping

Awww yes, you may be depressed, tired, sad, just in a bad mood or simply you're suffering from bm (blonde moment)....and no matter how hard you try nothing can make you feel bit better...(not even chocolate ice cream or a cup of cappuccino in my case) ...but there's something that always works in such situations....shopping. And it doesn't matter much if you buy something or not...just the time spent in the shops, trying things on, looking for 'the one and only' thing for you....awwww even writing about it makes me feel better, lol. Of course, if you buy a few things that makes shopping more pleasurable.

That's what I did today...had a session of my shopping therapy and even bought a lovely top for myself.

Do you have the right to be silent?

Now, something I can't get out of my head since yesterday. Being a female I have that tendency to watch all kinds of soaps. Not that I watch many, just two regularly. One of them is 'Men in Trees' ...a funny, not demanding soap that helps you to relax on Sunday afternoon when you're about to have your bad mood before going back to work on Monday. Anyway, not what I wanted to write about here....those digressions lol. The thing is last Sunday they asked a question there which got me thinking....the question was: "In a relationship, do you have the right to be silent?" Not an easy thing to answer, is it? And I'm not only thinking about male-female relationships here...friendship works in a similar way. If there's a thing that bothers one person should they just sit down and tak about it till they come to conclusion? I have always thought this is the best way to solve problems....talk about them and move on. You know the situation when something is going on, we don't talk about it and then each person starts guessing or assuming different things and the situation is getting even more complicated (yeah, I can even remember a perfect example of such a situation happening not long ago). But, the other person may not really be much of a talker, they may not want to talk about their feelings or problems. And we all know opening up is not as easy as we would like it to be. And what then? Force them? That's why that question stays in my mind....'in a relationship, do you have the right to be silent?"

Now who would have thought a silly soap can make you think...

Tatras

Hmmm, I just felt I need to leave this post here because I have heard that going to Peru is someone's dream. Not that I have anything against going there, but it's worth reconsidering your decision. The reasons why you guys should come to Poland are obvious. Now take a look at the pics and say you wouldn't like to go there....why spend a lot of money to go to Peru, for example ;)

Coming here is way cheaper (that's the reason number one), it would give you a chance to visit me (or take me to the Tatras with you, hint hint). So?
